there
was
brought
to
the
land
of
Armenia
the
false
books
and
inane
traditions
of
a
man
named
Theodore.
Synodical
fathers
of
the
church
had
informed
Sahak
and
Mesrop,
the
faithful
glorifiers
[of
God],
concerning
it
in
writing;
and
the
latter,
in
the
interest
of
truth,
destroyed
and
sent
them
beyond
their
borders,
so
that
no
satanic
smoke
might
contaminate
the
luminous
doctrine.
