NOTE ON TRANSLITERATION

Transliteration of Armenian words, is based on the Library of Congress System. However, personal and geographical names are transliterated according to Western Armenian phonetics, e. g. Hagop, and not Hakob; Krikor, and not Grigor; Nahabed, and not Nahapet; Dadian, and not Tatian; Palu, and not Balu.
